Sports Results

Accountability is part of the product.

LineLens will publish every official qualified position with the market, price, timestamp and closing result. Records will not be reset after a difficult stretch, and losing positions will not disappear.

What Will Be Tracked

Official record • Units won or lost • Return on investment • Average price • Closing-line value • Pass rate • Results by sport and market type

Launch Status

The verified public results ledger begins when official LineLens selections begin. Until then, no performance record is claimed.

How to Read the Record

Short-term results can be noisy. Closing-line value and decision quality help evaluate the process, but neither guarantees future profit. Use the complete record—not a single winning day—to judge performance.

All results are informational. Betting involves risk.

How the public ledger will read

Every official QUALIFIED position belongs in the record, including losses. The sample below demonstrates recorded prices, grading and units. Every matchup, price, time and outcome shown is fictional.

Example Book is fictional. *Acceptable limits are demonstration values, not adopted model thresholds. Times are illustrative, not a publishing schedule. Net units use the published odds; original risk and returned stakes remain visible. Pushes and voids with a full stake return have zero net units. No actual record or profitability is claimed.

What CLV tells you

CLV compares the recorded offer with the documented closing market for the same selection and line. At −110 before the same moneyline closes at −120, the earlier price offers a better payout. A loss can still have a favorable price comparison.

The reporting method will identify the book or reference source, closing time and calculation. Different spread or total numbers will be reported as line movement, not silently treated as an exact-line odds comparison. Missing closing data is marked unavailable, not zero.

Raw break-even probabilities include sportsbook margin. Positive CLV is useful evidence; it does not prove profitability or guarantee a win.

How to judge the complete record

Review CLV, net units and long-run ROI together, with the reporting period, sample size, stakes and results by sport and market. ROI divides net profit by the stakes included under the disclosed reporting convention; returned stakes and grading exceptions must be explained.

Compare forecast probability groups with observed outcomes over enough untouched evaluation data. Win percentage alone ignores price. Report pass decisions against a defined set of reviewed opportunities; passing frequently alone does not establish quality.

Your sportsbook's actual price and settlement can differ. Keep your own odds, stake and result record.

Grading, voids and corrections

Published selection, line and price form the grading record. Wins, losses, pushes and voids are identified separately. Sportsbook settlement rules govern your own wager.

Corrections will retain the original entry and identify the changed field, reason and correction time. Records will not reset after losses. Read the grading and corrections FAQs →

Reporting begins with official positions

The public performance record begins when actual official LineLens positions are published. These sample entries are separate from that record and will not count toward it.

The methodology explains the planned 60% market / 40% independent model and evaluation process. Read the methodology →
